What are non-tradable securities?
We use the term 'non-tradable securities' when our third-party broker is not able to execute a sell order for certain illiquid securities in your investment account.
This happens when these securities don't have an active secondary market, or it's difficult or impossible to trade them over the counter for a prolonged period of time. Non-tradable securities are typically expected to be and remain near or entirely worthless.
If you hold non-tradable securities when your investment account is closed, they’ll be removed to allow the closure. As per Revolut Securities Singapore Pte Ltd Terms, any future proceeds from their sale or liquidation won’t be credited to you, they’ll be donated to charity.
