How long does the chargeback process take?

The chargeback process includes several stages, each with its own timeframes. We'll give you updates about each stage via email. Overall, the entire process (from submission, to Revolut, to the decision) can take up to 12 weeks. We can't speed up this process.

  • Fraud cases — it can take 10 days, but can vary depending on the individual case
  • Disputes — it can take as long as 90 days to have a outcome on the case, from the day it was reported
  • ATM cases — it can take as long as 45 days for an outcome, from the day it was reported

Check the status of your chargeback request

  1. Go to your Transactions list
  2. Select the disputed transaction
  3. Click 'Get help'
  4. Choose 'Chargeback status'
