Managing a mobile plan for a lost or stolen device

If you don't have access to your account

If your device was lost, stolen, or may be at risk, follow the below steps as well as you can to help secure your account.

  • Tap this link to report a lost device
  • Verify your identity with a selfie
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to log out from all linked devices, freeze your cards, and eSIM temporarily, and change your passcode

If you're unable to follow these steps, email us at support@revolut.com.

If you still have access to your account

  • Go to the Revolut app
  • From the home screen, tap your profile icon in the top left corner
  • Tap 'Security'
  • Tap 'Lost device'
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to log out from all linked devices, freeze your cards and eSIM temporarily, and change your passcode

You can also complete these steps in the Revolut web app:

  • Sign in to the Revolut web app
  • Click 'Security' in the left-hand menu
  • Click 'Lost device'
  • Follow the onscreen instructions to log out from all linked devices, freeze your cards and eSIM temporarily, and change your passcode

Freezing and unfreezing your eSIM

Your number will be temporarily disconnected, preventing calls and texts. All data plans, including local and roaming, will be paused. You won't be charged for future mobile plan payments until your eSIM is unfrozen, which you can do after securing your account.

To unfreeze your eSIM, go to 'Mobile plans' and select 'Unfreeze.' This can be done on your recovered device or another device with the app. A new eSIM may be required.

If you can't get your device back, or you need to connect right away, transfer your plan. Log in to the Revolut app on a new device, select 'Transfer here' on the 'Mobile plans' screen, and install the eSIM. This will transfer your plan and disable it on your old device.

Plan auto-cancellation

Your plan will be automatically cancelled and your number disconnected when your current billing period ends if you don't unfreeze or transfer it. You'll then have 30 days to port out your number.

After this cancellation, you can always rejoin Revolut Mobile by purchasing a new plan.
