Transfer hasn't arrived

To view the estimated arrival date and track your card transfer, tap it in transaction history. Most transfers are instant but, in rare cases, banks may delay transferring funds to cards. This could take up to 48 hours.

If this happens, download the transfer confirmation. Learn how to do it in this article, and share it with the beneficiary bank directly for more information on when the funds will arrive.

If the funds haven't arrived after 48 hours and the bank hasn't provided guidance, open the Revolut app, search for the transaction, tap it and select 'Get help'. Then, select the option 'When will my transfer arrive?' for further guidelines.

Transfer failed or declined

To check why a transfer failed or was declined, tap it in transaction history. There are several reasons why a card transfer may have been rejected, including incorrect recipient details, a closed recipient account, suspected fraud, or simply the recipient bank doesn't support card transfers. It's important to keep your recipient's card details up-to-date and to contact the recipient bank for more information. Alternatively, you can try sending a bank transfer instead.

Cancel transfer

If you've made an error, such as sending money to the wrong card, a duplicate transaction, or an incorrect amount, the fastest way to cancel the transfer is to ask the recipient person to return it. Alternatively, you can try downloading the transfer confirmation and sharing it with the beneficiary bank directly and asking them to return the transfer. Learn how to do it, in this article.

Revolut can also initiate this process, but it's lengthy and requires ‌approval from the recipient bank. If the recipient or their bank refuses to assist, we won't be able to get the funds back.

Transfer was a fraud or scam

  1. Immediately end all communication with the fraudster or scammer
  2. Tap on the transfer in your transaction history
  3. Tap 'Get help'
  4. Tap 'Report this transfer as fraud' and follow the on-screen prompts
