My card payment was declined by the security system

Fraudulent transactions

Your account security is our priority. Occasionally, our security system may decline a card payment attempt for security reasons. When this happens, we may automatically freeze your card.

If this happens, it's important you review the alerted transaction in-app, as your card may be frozen until you do so.

How to review a fraudulent transaction

Select this payment in your transactions and review by choosing one of 2 available options:

  • Yes, it was a genuine transaction: your card will then be automatically unfrozen, and you can retry the payment
  • No, you didn't make the payment: your card will be automatically terminated. You can order a new one in the Cards section

Confirming that a transaction is genuine only works in the context of a single card (i.e. we can still perform security checks for transactions with the same merchant on other cards you hold).
