Transfer fees
Sending a transfer
- We never charge for a transfer if it's sent to an account in your country and sent in your country's local currency
- We charge a small fee for international transfers sent to an account outside your country, and we'll always show you our fees before you send a transfer in the Revolut app
Check our international Fees Page for more information.
Discounts on international transfer fees
- Metal customers: 80% discount
- Ultra customers: 100% discount
When your money is in transit, intermediary institutions are used to complete the transaction and might charge a fee. Revolut doesn't have visibility or control over these fees.
Receiving a transfer
Revolut doesn't charge any fees for adding money via transfer to your account. However, there are non-Revolut fees that can be charged:
- Your sending institution might charge a fee for the transfer. Contact them for details on their fees. For international (SWIFT) transfers, your external sending institution may apply fees. Intermediary institutions may also charge handling fees of USD 15–50
If your transfer is in a currency not supported by Revolut, your sending institution may convert it at their exchange rate, which may lead to a fee. To avoid fees, use local details and supported currencies, which you can check in this article.
