Why did my recipient receive less money?
Revolut fees for transfers are always visible in-app before sending the transfer, as well as in the transfer details after completion. To check them, tap on the transfer in your transaction history.
Common reasons your recipient may have received less than the sent amount:
- Transfers in different currencies: The recipient’s bank may charge an exchange fee if the currency is not the same as the recipient's account
- SWIFT transfers: Intermediary banks may charge handling fees
- Recipient bank fees: The recipient bank may charge a fee for incoming transfers
