Why did you ask me for additional information about payer/beneficiary?

As a financial institution, we sometimes need to perform additional checks on the funds that move through Revolut. When our automated system flags a transfer for a standard review, you may receive a request for additional documents or information to complete it. Not to worry, you can easily submit this through the Revolut app and we’ll review it as soon as possible.

One of the documents we're likely to ask you for is a transfer confirmation, which is a document you can get from the financial institution sending the funds. It's usually in PDF format and it should contain information such as the:

  • Full name and account number of the sender
  • Name provided and account number of the recipient
  • Amount of funds transferred
  • Date of transfer
