Managing a number transfer to Revolut Mobile
How long does the number transfer take?
The time it takes can depend on how you choose the switch date. With Power of Attorney, it can be as fast as one working day (overnight if requested by 17:00) or any chosen date up to 30 days later. You can also schedule it for your next billing cycle or contract end date, up to 6 months away.
The timing of the number portability depends on your contract with your existing service provider. If your current number is not transferred within 365 days, then the temporary number will be set as your primary number for your voice service.
Until the switch takes place, you can continue to use your new Revolut Mobile eSIM with your temporary number or your SIM from your original network. You’ll lose service on your original network on the day the switch takes place. You can dispose of your original SIM once your transfer is complete.
Can I transfer my number from an existing fixed contract?
You can authorise us to act on your behalf and grant us Power of Attorney to transfer your number from your current provider. You can choose the date you wish to transfer to Revolut, which can be at the end of your contract date (up to 6 months away) or a sooner custom date.
Selecting a date before your contract notice period concludes might incur early termination policies and fees, which are your responsibility to manage with your current provider.
Can I transfer a number from a cancelled plan to Revolut?
If your subscription is cancelled but your phone number is still connected, or your number was disconnected within the last 30 days, you might be able to transfer it. Check with your current provider whether you can transfer your number.
Transferring a number not registered in your name
It's not possible to transfer a number that is not registered in your name to Revolut.
