Transfer your existing number to Revolut
To keep your current number when switching to Revolut, select 'Transfer to Revolut' when purchasing a plan from us. In-app instructions will guide you through transferring your number, and there's no cost to move your current number to Revolut.
Even if you have completed the purchase of a plan and already have a random or VIP number, you can still transfer your existing phone number to Revolut Mobile. To start the transfer process, go to 'Mobile plans', ‘Plan details’, ‘Manage’, and select ‘Transfer to Revolut’.
What is Power of Attorney and why do I need it?
In Poland, a 'Power of Attorney' permission is required to facilitate and expedite the transfer of your mobile number. This authorisation allows us to communicate with your previous provider and terminate your contract on your behalf. This streamlines the process and minimises potential issues.
By granting this permission, you acknowledge any potential costs associated with terminating your existing contract early. If you're under a contract, your former provider may charge fees for early termination, particularly if you're still within a minimum term or promotional period.
What personal details do I need to provide?
When you ask to bring your number to Revolut mobile, you'll need to give us some specific information that must exactly match the information your old provider has on record for you. You'll also need to provide information to prove your identity.
For a personal account, you will need:
- First and last name
- Identity document number (PESEL/Citizen ID for Polish citizens, or Passport/Residence Card for foreigners)
- Address
- Phone number to transfer
- Current provider's name
- Date you want the switch to happen
- Permission (Power of Attorney) for 1GLOBAL (our partner) to handle the switch
What if I want to move a business number to Revolut?
For a business account, you usually need:
- Business name and registration number (NIP)
- Business address
- Billing address (if different)
- Phone number to transfer
- Current provider's name
- Date you want the switch to happen
- Permission (Power of Attorney) for 1GLOBAL to handle the switch
