How can I pass ownership of my account to another person in the company?

Each Revolut Business account has one team member with the Owner role. It’s initially the person who opened the account (the Applicant), who also serves as the main contact for us.

There can be only 1 Owner per account, but Admin role also provides additional team members full access to the Revolut Business account.

You can also transfer account ownership. Here’s how:

  1. Make sure you have the ‘Manage team members’ permission to proceed.
  2. Ensure that the new Owner is on the account with the Admin role (Team tab → select their profile → Role). If they aren’t on the account, invite them as Admin (Team tab → Invite).
  3. Go to Team tab → select the current owner's profile.
  4. Tap Delete team member (terminated profiles can be reinvited later).
  5. Select the new Owner from the list that displays.

Important notes:

  • Ownership transfer is only possible after completing the application process for Revolut Business account. If not complete, close the current application and start a new one with the correct applicant.
