Methods to receive payments from customers
Once you have an active Merchant account, you can receive payments from your customers in 3 ways.
In-person transactions
Make sales in person with Revolut Reader — our card reader, Revolut Terminal – our all-in-one device, or through Tap To Pay on iPhone. You don't need to have a website to be eligible for these payment methods.
You can request access by ordering one of the devices or using Tap to Pay on iPhone in the Revolut Business app.
You can too use our Revolut POS app on your iPad or iPhone, our point of sale software, to power your checkout in store. Our efficient and user-friendly interface helps you focus on sales.
Online transactions
For Invoices, Payment Links, or Revolut Pay, you need to have an online presence, but you don't need to have a functional ecommerce website for this. You can have a regular website, Facebook page, LinkedIn profile, Instagram profile, Google Maps listing, or similar.
You can request access in 'Merchant' on the main menu.
API and plugin integration
Process all the online payments from your website via the Revolut Payment Gateway and receive the payments directly into your Merchant account. You need to have a fully functional website and might need to provide proof of ownership.

We may ask you for additional information to complete your request for any of these features. Once you upload the information we need from your homepage, we'll do our best to review it and respond within 2-3 business days.
