Create a pre‑authorisation

This flow occurs at the point of sale when a merchant initiates a transaction with the pre-authorisation setting turned on.

How to create a pre-authorisation

  • Enter the transaction value on the keypad and tap 'Checkout'.
  • Choose your checkout method by selecting 'Pre-Authorise'
  • Select 'Credit/debit card'. The app will then process the hold with the card issuer.
  • Once approved, a confirmation screen will appear showing the transaction details.
