SWIFT transfer options and fees
Fees and allowance
When sending international SWIFT transfers, fees may be charged by intermediary and beneficiary banks to fulfil SWIFT transfer requests. These fees can be settled in two ways:
- OUR fee: all fees, including intermediary and receiver bank fees, are paid upfront, ensuring the recipient gets the full amount
- SHA fee: fees are split between sender and beneficiary and are charged after the transfer is completed. This can result in recipients getting less than the amount sent
If you chose the OUR option, the transfer will not count towards your plan allowance for international transfers.
When can I choose the SWIFT OUR option?
The SWIFT OUR option is available for international transfers when the currency being sent is different from the destination country’s local currency. For example, if you send USD to a country other than the US. You can use this option with the following currencies:
USD, EUR, CHF, GBP, ZAR, ILS, NZD, JPY, RSD, SAR, PNL, BGN, NOK, DKK, RON, AED, SEK, TRY, HUF, CZK, THB, AUD, CAD, MXN, HKD, SGD, EGP.
Additionally, you can use SWIFT OUR for transfers with no destination restrictions in the following currencies: ZAR, ILS, NZD, JPY, RSD, and SAR
