Requesting money with a payment link

Payment links are a secure way to send or receive money without sharing personal information or account details.

To learn about sending money with a payment link, visit this FAQ.

How to create a payment link request

In the Revolut app:

  • Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
  • Tap 'New' (the + sign) in the top-right corner
  • Tap 'Link'
  • Tap 'Request money'
  • Set the amount to request, or share your generic Revolut.me link and let the sender choose the amount

To request money from non-Revolut customers, Revtag discoverability should be enabled in-app. The sender can pay you via a Revolut transfer or by using a credit or debit card.

Limits and timeframes

No limit applies for money received via Revolut transfer from payment links

The limit for card payments via payment links is typically £250 per week or £1000 per month (or the equivalent in other currencies). This limit varies with each individual and cannot be changed. You can check your limit in the app via:

  • Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
  • Tap 'New' (the + sign) in the top-right corner
  • Tap 'Link'
  • Tap 'Request money'
  • Tap 'Info' icon on the top-right corner

Supported cards and currencies
