How do I manage a Group Pocket?

With a Group Pocket, you can save with family and friends for a common goal. The management permissions for your Pocket will vary based on whether you're an admin or a member.

You should only join a Group Pocket or send money to it if you trust the admin. If the owner closes their Revolut account, or their account is restricted, you won't be able to access the money in their Group Pocket.

Create a Group Pocket in-app

  • Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  • Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
  • Tap 'Add new' and 'Pockets'
  • Choose 'Group'
  • Set the Pocket name and currency
  • Select friends and tap 'Invite'
  • Define the withdrawal permissions
  • Tap 'Continue' to complete setup

Admin permissions

Group Pocket admins can:

  • Add members: scroll down in the Group Pocket and tap 'Members', then select ‘Add’
  • Remove members: scroll down in the Group Pocket and tap 'Members', select a member, and select 'Remove'
  • Set withdrawal permissions for each member
  • Add money via once-off transfers, recurring transfers, or spare change
