Late loan repayments
Outstanding monthly repayments
If you don't have sufficient funds in your Revolut EUR personal account at midnight of your scheduled repayment date, your repayment will be outstanding.
You should top up your account and ensure there are enough funds in your Revolut EUR personal account to pay the outstanding amount. We’ll automatically try to debit it from your account at least once a day.
How to pay outstanding monthly repayments
To avoid further delays, you can repay your outstanding balance by tapping 'Repay - Make outstanding payment' under ‘Personal loan’ in-app on or after your repayment due date.
Make sure the outstanding amount hasn’t been automatically debited from your account before paying.
Impact of late repayments
If you don't make your repayment in time, the repayment will be overdue, and your loan may be in default.
Your late repayments will accrue late payment interest and fees as shown in your loan contract, and may be reported to the Central Credit Register (CCR), managed by Banco de Portugal, which could limit your ability to access credit in the future.
If you’re experiencing financial difficulties or struggling with your repayments, you can request live support by typing ‘Live agent' in the in-app chat.
