Getting started with travel insurance
Our travel insurance policy is provided as a benefit with our Metal and Ultra plans. Your travel insurance is automatically activated the moment you sign up for the Metal or Ultra plan — no separate activation is required.
If you and your trip meet the eligibility requirements, there's no need to notify us about your travel plans. These are automatically covered.
Eligibility and people covered
- Trips must be paid with your Metal or Ultra Revolut account. See more in this FAQ
- Your upgraded plan must be active at the time of booking
- You must reside in the EEA with your primary address matching your Revolut account
- You and beneficiaries must meet eligibility criteria outlined in this FAQ
Regions covered
- Worldwide (except for travel to sanctioned countries)
- Domestic trips (i.e. trips within your home country) more than 100kms away from your home, or including an overnight stay outside your primary residence's city/town

How to check your policy
To check your insurance policy in the main Revolut app:
- Go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'Insurance'
- Select 'Travel'
- Choose a cover type and tap 'All documents'
