Getting started with Revolut

Eligibility

You must be over the age of 18 and be a legal resident of a supported country.

For kids and teens aged between 13–17, learn about our Revolut — Kids & Teens sub-accounts.

Holding a single personal account

You can only have one personal Revolut account, even across different countries.

After you open a personal account, you have the option to make your Revolut a Joint account or open a Pro account.

Required information

To open and use a Revolut account, you must provide the following:

  • A valid mobile phone number
  • A valid email address
  • Personal information, including but not limited to your current address, date of birth, full name, and citizenship(s)
  • A valid government-issued document for identity verification
  • A selfie for account security

Do I have to pay to use Revolut?

You can open and use a Revolut account at no cost. You can upgrade your account to one of our package accounts to save money on fees and access additional benefits.
