Why was my joint account closed?

To hold a joint account, you must: 

  • Have a personal account with Revolut in an active state, i.e. not suspended, closed, or restricted
  • Pass our identity verification process
  • Live in the same country as the other account holder and belong to the same Revolut entity, for example, Revolut Bank UAB or a local branch 
  • Not be the co-holder of another Revolut joint account
  • Not have a pending invite for another Revolut joint account

If you no longer meet any of the necessary requirements, we can close your joint account.
