Your child can switch to a personal Revolut account ‌upon turning 18. You'll receive a notification about the transition, requiring no action from your end.

Your child can transfer their existing money and Pockets from the <18 account to the new one.

If you would prefer for them not to transfer any existing money to their new account, you can withdraw it before their 18th birthday.

Until your child fully activates the new personal account and initiates any transfers from their <18 account, their <18 card and account will function normally. After the transfer, their <18 account and card will be terminated.

If the switch isn't made by their 19th birthday, we'll terminate the <18 account and return any remaining money to your personal account.
