How to open a sub-account for your kids or teens

Create a sub-account for your kids or teens

In your main Revolut app:

  • Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  • Below your balance, tap Accounts
  • Tap 'Add new'
  • Select 'Kids'
  • Enter your kid's details and follow the prompts

You’ll be able to create a second sub-account by tapping 'Add new' and 'Kids'. Revolut — sub-account T&Cs apply. Sub-accounts hold one currency, which is the parent's default currency.

Can my kid open a sub-account on their own?

Kids older than the required consent age can start the sign-up process themselves. They'll still need your approval to activate their sub-account and order a card.

If you don’t approve your kid's request within 60 days, the request and sub-account will be deleted.
