Why was my Savings account restricted or closed?

We may close or restrict your Savings account in exceptional circumstances, as per our terms and conditions. This can happen if we're reasonably concerned about your account security, or if we're required to by law. 

If your account is restricted, we'll inform you of the reason, as long as we can do so without any security risk or legal impediment. We'll also let you know as soon as your account is unrestricted.

If your account is closed, your Savings account balance will immediately be moved to your current account. You'll also receive a document within 30 days of closure, detailing deposits, withdrawals, and interest earned on your account in the previous 12 months.
