My account is restricted for tax residency reasons. Why?

As a regulated financial institution, we’re required to collect your tax residency details by law. Providing these details allows you to explore all the in-app features your plan has to offer, unrestricted. 

If you don’t provide these details after the time frame stated in the email we sent you, you won’t be able to receive money or add money to your Revolut account. However, you’ll still be able to use the money available in your balance.

To remove the restrictions, submit your tax residency. Once the tax residency details have been submitted, we’ll verify them within 1 business day. If you pass the verification, you'll gain full access to your plan features. If you are having trouble accessing your account even after submitting all info, please get in contact with our costumer support team.
