The Athletic

The Athletic access

To access your The Athletic subscription (available to Metal and Ultra customers) in-app:

  1. Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner
  2. Select 'Your plan'
  3. Scroll down until you see your plan's benefits and tap 'See all'
  4. Select 'The Athletic' and follow the instructions to activate this benefit

Once that's done, you'll be subscribed to:

  • Unrivalled trusted coverage of the top Premier League clubs and major European teams
  • Dedicated coverage of the major European leagues, including La Liga, Serie A, and the Bundesliga
  • Access to over 450 sports writers, including prominent figures in football such as Oli Kay, Danny Taylor, and David Ornstein
  • In-depth live match center for real-time scores and stats
  • A wide breadth of sports coverage beyond football, including the NFL, NBA, Formula One, and Tennis
  • Dedicated mobile apps available for iOS and Android platforms

Subscription difficulty

If you're having issues with the promo code for The Athletic, request live support by typing 'Live agent' in the chat.

This benefit is available to Metal and Ultra customers in selected countries only. If you decide to end your subscription at any time, you'll automatically lose access to this benefit.
