Update my tax information

As a regulated financial institution, we're required to collect your tax residences information. Depending on your country, we may require a tax identification number (TIN) to confirm your tax status.

You have 90 days from signing up or from the first notification about your tax residences to update your residence details. You don't need to let us know if you’re waiting and expect to receive your documents by the deadline.

If your tax residence changes, please make sure you update your information in-app accordingly.

How to update your tax residences

If you pay taxes in more than one country, all tax residences must be declared unless the country isn't listed. To find the correct format of the TIN you need to submit, you can check this website.

To update your tax residences in-app: 

  1. Tap your profile icon on the top-left corner
  2. Tap 'Account'
  3. Choose 'Personal details'
  4. Select 'Tax residences'
  5. Add or edit a country and enter the identification number requested

It may take up to 1 business day for us to review your information and remove any restrictions.

I don’t have the required ID number

If you don't have a TIN because you’re a student, unemployed, retired, waiting for the TIN as a new employee, or you pay taxes in a different country:

  1. Use this link to go to our in-app 'Review your tax information' page
  2. Tap the pencil icon → 'Add' 
  3. Select 'I can't provide it now' and the applicable reason
