Report suspicious call, email, link, or text
Revolut will never ask you to make any payments, call you without booking in advance, or ask you to share any code on a phone call.
Security measures when dealing with suspicious contacts
- Reach out to Revolut Support via the in-app chat to confirm whether the contact is legitimate or not
- For emails, check the email address of the sender for typos or suspicious formats. Legitimate emails use official domains (e.g. @revolut.com instead of [email protected])
- If you're not sure of the contact's authenticity, don't share your personal or financial information
What to do if you've fallen victim to a scam
Secure your account:
- Stop all communication with the scammer
- Freeze your card in your Revolut app by tapping the card icon in the top-right corner, selecting the card you want to freeze, and tapping 'Freeze'. Alternatively, you can terminate it by going to 'Settings' and tapping 'Terminate card'
- Reach out to Revolut Support via the in-app chat for assistance
- If you can, we recommend reporting the matter to the police
Report the fraudulent transaction in-app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Select the transaction from your transactions list
- Select 'Get help'
- Choose the most relevant option
