How can I prove the nature of my business if I haven't started trading yet?

We understand that for a start-up company it might be difficult to get some of the documents we usually require to prove your nature of business. In these cases, we ask that you have:

  1. been registered in the last 6 months
  2. a clear business description that matches the industry category you provided
  3. and either of below documentation which should carefully explain your business activities:
  • a business plan (preferred one)
  • a leaflet
  • a powerpoint presentation

The document you submit should include at a minimum:

  1. Your business details (name, legal form, founder and CEO)
  2. The products or services you offer
  3. An operational plan for the business
  • Suppliers/partners/distributors/government authorities/contractors/retailers etc. (if applicable) that will support delivery of your products or services
  • Customer segment: type of customers you will serve
  • Marketing channels/customer reachout: how will you market your product or services to reach out to your customers
  • Source of funds to start the business
  • Revenue model: source of revenue for the business
  • Roadmap for the next 12 months
  • Timelines on when the business will be operational
  • Additional products, services or feature rollout timelines and key milestones for the next 12 months

Once you go through our application process, you'll be able to see in your application menu all the documents we can accept in order to confirm your nature of business (see our general guidance on the documents we usually accept). Once you've submitted your application, we'll review it within 24 hours.

If you're unable to upload requested documents into your application directly, or you continue to face issues, please complete a support request.
