Proof of authority to open or manage the account

What is proof of authority?

Proof of authority is a type of permission required from your business director or significant shareholder (at least 25% ownership) for you to open and manage a Revolut Business account for the business.

How to provide proof of authority

If you're not a director or beneficial owner of the business, we'll need to confirm your right to set up and manage the account in the business' name.

This can be done by providing:

  • A board resolution dated within the last 3 months that authorises the applicant to open an account
  • A letter of authorisation signed by two directors that authorises the applicant to open an account. If the company only has one director, their signature will suffice. It must be dated within the last 3 months and certified by a lawyer, accountant, or notary as a true copy

To sign up for Revolut Business in Singapore, you can use this template.

How long will the verification take?

The verification process can take up to 5 business days. After this timeframe, if you haven't received an email notifying you that your verification is completed, check 'Home' on the main menu to make sure there's no request for additional information.
