Top up your account with PayNow
How to add money with PayNow
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Select 'Add Money'
- Tap the payment method selector
- Choose 'PayNow' to generate a QR code
- Tap 'Download QR'
- Upload the image to your external bank’s QR code scanner, or enter the details manually
Timeframes
PayNow top-ups are immediate. Your Revolut account should update instantly to reflect your new balance.
Failed PayNow top-ups
If you manually entered details in your other financial app, ensure the reference number from your Revolut app is correct. Missing or incorrect reference numbers cause automatic transaction failure, meaning your top-up won't reach your Revolut account.
We only allow PayNow top-ups from an account under the same name as your Revolut account. Top-ups sent from an account under a different name will be blocked and funds returned to the sending account.
Cancellations
It's not possible to cancel a PayNow top-up after it was authorised. Once the money arrives in your Revolut account, you can send it back to your external bank account following the steps described in this article.
