Card deposit limits and fees
Payment Service Act limits
Under the Payment Services Act, top-up limits apply to Revolut accounts. If you've set up an external account, you can deposit over SGD 19,800 daily. Excess funds above this limit are automatically transferred to your external account at the end of each day (between 23:30 and 23:59 SGT).
If you opt for a lower stock cap, you won't be able to hold more than your stock cap at any point in time.
Other card top-up limits
Our automated security system sets top-up limits for all customers, which reset on a rolling basis (24 hours or 7 days depending on the limit). They’re based on the total amount you’ve added by card in the past 24 hours or 7 days. These limits adjust as you build a financial history with us.
There is an annual top-up limit for all methods. This annual limit resets on the day your Revolut account was registered. If you reach this limit, you may need to submit additional documentation. All top-ups have a minimum amount, displayed in-app when adding funds. Other limits are shown below:
- Up to 10 card top-ups are allowed within a 24-hour period.
- Digital wallet top-ups (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay) are limited to £12,000 (or currency equivalent) within a 7-day period.
- New customers (within 30 days of joining) are limited to £3,000 (or currency equivalent) within a 24-hour period.
Revolut fees
Any fees we apply will always be visible to you before you add money to your account. These same fees apply when adding money with Apple Pay or Google Pay. Fees apply for the following card types:
- Business and commercial cards
- Cards issued outside Singapore
- Debit cards
Your account's first card top-up will be free of charge, no matter the card type, T&Cs apply. Read this FAQ for a list of cards that can be used for top-ups.
Non-Revolut fees
Revolut has no control or visibility over the fees your card issuer may charge when you use a card issued by them to top up. Some card issuers may charge you if your card top-up is recognised as a cash withdrawal or advance, international transfer, or a transfer in another currency.
