How to add money with a card
Add money with a card
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'Add money'
- Enter the amount
- Under the amount, choose your payment method
- Set the currency to your card's local currency to avoid exchange fees
- Select a saved card. If you want to add another card, tap 'Debit card'
- Follow the prompts and tap 'Continue'
If you need to add money in a different currency, you can exchange it in-app after you have topped up.

Credit card top-ups
We stopped accepting top-ups via credit cards on 20 May 2025 due to regulatory requirements. This includes direct top-ups from credit cards, or credit cards attached to your Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Common errors with card deposits
- Issuer decline: your card issuer has declined the transaction based on one of their internal rules, such as exceeding certain limits
- 3DS issues: you didn't authenticate the deposit with your bank, usually via a notification in their app or with a one-time password via text message. You can try again with an Apple Pay or Google Pay deposit. See our Add money with Apple Pay or Google Pay FAQ for more information.
