My card has been swallowed by an ATM
If your card is swallowed by an ATM terminal, freeze your card to prevent any undesired transactions.
In the Revolut mobile app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Tap the cards icon in the top-right corner
- Choose your card and tap 'Freeze'
Contact the ATM provider and ask for instructions on how to retrieve your card. Most ATMs should display the contact details on the machine.
If you tried to withdraw the funds, but the card was swallowed, and you see a pending transaction, wait, it should be returned automatically. You can check the date of the reversal in the 'Status' section of the payment. If the transaction is completed, select the payment from the transactions list and tap 'Get help' to submit a chargeback request.
