Crypto Risk Awareness Assessment
What is the Risk Awareness Assessment?
As part of MAS Guidelines on Consumer Protection Measures by Digital Payment Tokens (DPTs) Service Providers, new customers who wish to use our crypto services are required to complete a Risk Awareness Assessment.
The assessment aims to ensure that you are equipped with sufficient knowledge to make an informed decision when dealing in cryptocurrency.
What happens if I fail the assessment?
You will be able to retake the assessment for an unlimited number of times. There is no cooldown required between each try. It is recommended for you to read up more on DPTs to help in your understanding.
You will not be able to purchase and/or receive cryptocurrency on Revolut until you pass the assessment.
What if I am an existing crypto customer?
You will not be able to purchase and/or receive cryptocurrency on Revolut until you pass the assessment. You may continue sending crypto without the assessment provided that the tokens are transmitted to another crypto account not maintained with Revolut Technologies Singapore Pte Ltd.
You may sell your existing crypto in exchange for fiat currencies without passing the assessment. However, you will need to pass the assessment in order to trade one cryptocurrency for another cryptocurrency.
