Open a Revolut – Kids & Teens account
Create a Revolut account for your kids or teens
In the main Revolut app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
- Tap 'Add new'
- Select 'Kids'
- Enter your child’s details and follow the prompts
You’ll be able to create a second account by tapping 'Add new' and 'Kids'. Revolut – Kids & Teens T&Cs apply. Revolut – Kids & Teens accounts hold one currency, which is the parent's default currency.
Can my child open an account on their own?
Children older than the required consent age can start the sign-up process themselves in the Revolut – Kids & Teens app. They'll still need your approval to activate their account and order a card.
If you don’t approve your child’s request within 60 days, the request and account will be deleted.
Signing in
Your child will need to scan a QR code from your Revolut app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
- Select your child’s profile
- Tap 'More' or 'Settings'
- Select 'QR code'
- Let your child scan the code using their mobile phone
