What countries are supported for outbound transfer?

What currencies are supported for outbound transfer?

When creating a beneficiary, you need to choose a currency you know is supported by their account. This will ensure you send the correct currency and money is exchanged at the available exchange rate.If your transfer arrives in different currency, it means that you sent a currency unsupported by the beneficiary account. This means your money had to be exchanged at the rate of the beneficiary or intermediary bank. These exchange rates can vary and are not controlled by Revolut.For example:If you choose USD as currency to be sent to a GBP account, then the beneficiary bank will exchange your USD to GBP at their own exchange rate.

My outbound transfer arrived in different currency?

Can I make a local transfer in a different currency? 

When you make an international payment, intermediary banks may deduct fees from the amount you send. Our 'pay all fees' feature allows you to pay a flat upfront fee, which guarantees that the recipient receives the full amount. This will be charged instead of the standard international payment fee.The amount of this fee depends on your base currency. It can change from time to time, but you'll always see the current fee in-app before you agree to the transfer.Eligible transfers:<ul><li>USD to outside of the US (where USD is not a national currency)</li><li>GBP to outside of the UK (where GBP is not a national currency)</li><li>CHF to outside of Switzerland (except Liechtenstein)</li><li>EUR to outside of SEPA countries (except Montenegro and Kosovo)</li></ul>A discount on this fee will be applied according to your price plan in the same way as for other international payment fees. Can I cover intermediary bank fees upfront?

As for now, there is no option to transfer INR to your Revolut account, however, you can transfer Rupees to accounts outside of Revolut.Due to this currency being restricted by its respective country’s government, you will only be able to send these currencies to its respective country.When you initiate such a transfer, we would take the money from one of your active currency pockets and convert it after confirming that you are OK with the exchange rate. It is simple and quick!It is not possible to hold INR in one of your accounts, but you can still use your Revolut card to make card payments in INR.

Can I receive bank transfers in INR?

Why does my recipient need to be verified?Due to local regulation, we need some information from your recipient to complete your transfer to South Africa. It typically takes 1 to 3 working days to review your recipient’s information.What does the verification process look like?The South African Reserve Bank requires that all recipients complete verification, or a Reporting Mandate, in order to receive money. Our local partner will contact your recipient by text and email requesting them to complete an online form. Once the form is completed, your recipient will receive the money.The recipient is required to repeat the verification process once a year for every provider they receive transfers from.What are the documents my recipient needs to upload? In order to pass verification, the recipient will need to submit an ID document. Why is my beneficiary not allowed?

For saved card beneficiaries, you can only edit the cardholder name or email. If you want to change the card number, instead of tapping on 'Edit', you can hit 'Delete' and add a new card beneficiary with the correct card number.

How do I edit card beneficiary details?

On <a href="revolut://app/payments" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">'Transfer'</a>, tap on the search bar, followed by 'Accounts'. Tap on the beneficiary and then on their profile in the top right corner. This will bring you to their profile, where you can edit their details.

How do I edit bank beneficiary details?

When you pay an individual for the first time, we add them to a list of payees that you know and consider them "trusted recipients". This means that in subsequent transactions, payments to them will not need two factor authentication, except when transfers exceed certain limits

What is a trusted recipient?

Untrusting a payee is possible by navigating to the recipient details screen and using the toggle in the 'Authentication' section.
