Minimum order value

The minimum order value is $1

Maximum order limit

  • Buy orders: You can place an order up to a maximum of SGD 100,000 for stocks and ETFs. For stocks, you can place an order for up to 50,000 shares if they're worth less than SGD 100,000 in value
  • For example, you can buy USD 100,000 worth of a stock and then immediately buy another USD 100,000 worth of the same stock. However, if the USD 100,000 is for less than 50,000 shares each time, you can't buy USD 101,000 worth of stock
  • Sell orders: You can place sell orders up to a maximum of USD 1,500,000, or up to 50,000 shares if they’re worth less than USD 1,500,000 in value at any one time

Closing a stock position

These limits can be bypassed in the case of closing out a position (selling 100% of a stock), up to a hard limit set by the broker of USD 1,500,000 or 50,000 shares. To learn more about closing a stock position, go to this FAQ.
