How can I block a subscription?

Contact the merchant

The only way to cancel a subscription is by contacting the merchant directly. Revolut Business can't cancel a subscription on your behalf. 

If the merchant is unresponsive

Although we can't cancel your subscription for you, Revolut Business can attempt to block further charges to your account from the merchant (if they are unresponsive to your cancellation request when you contact them directly). 

However, if the merchant attempts to charge you using a different method, your account will still be charged. This is why the best course of action for you to take is always to cancel the subscription directly with the merchant. Revolut Business is not responsible for any potential future charges from a merchant.

How to raise a request to stop payments

  1. Go to 'Cards
  2. Select the card used for the subscription
  3. In the transactions section, select the subscription payment
  4. Scroll down and select 'Get Help'
  5. Choose 'How do I cancel my subscription' and then 'Raise request'

As mentioned above, this will raise a request for us to block future payments to the merchant using the payment method you set for this subscription. Following these steps will not cancel your subscription on the merchant's end.

Additionally, ceasing payment to a merchant means they may take action as outlined in the T&Cs of your subscription, e.g. they may close your account with them if multiple charges to your account fail.
