Forwarding receipts by email
When receiving receipts by email, you can forward them directly to your dedicated Expenses email address and they will be automatically matched against your outstanding expenses.
Find your Expenses email address
- Go to your profile
- Click 'My receipts'
- Copy the unique email address displayed at the top of the page
- Forward your digital receipts from the email address you use to log in to Revolut Business to the expense email address
The forwarded receipt will be scanned and attached to the corresponding expense within a few minutes.
Email types and requirements
Requirements for emails that have an attachment:
- File types: PDF, JPG, or PNG format
- Maximum size: 6 MB
- If your email has several attachments, we will only process the first one
We also accept emails with no attachments but with a HTML body. To know if your email has an HTML body, your email client should provide an option to see the email raw text (on Gmail: ‘Show original’, on Apple Mail: ‘Raw Source’). This raw email text should have ‘Content-Type: text/html’.
If you can’t find the receipt in-app
- Make sure Expenses are enabled on your account
- Make sure you have the ‘Enrolled in Expenses’ permission
- Make sure you sent the receipt from the email address you use to log in to Revolut Business. If not, you would have received an email notification indicating the address is incorrect
- Make sure your email either has one attachment matching the above file type and size requirement, or has an HTML body
