How do I make an Ultra trip and event cancellation protection claim?
Revolut Ultra plan customers can make a claim for trip or event cancellation protection by following the below steps.
Notify your supplier
Inform your trip or event suppliers immediately and no later than 2 days after you become aware that you need to cancel. You must cancel your trip or event no less than 1 day before the start date. You will need to provide proof of your attempt to cancel with the supplier when submitting a claim.

Submit your claim
Submit your claim as soon as possible and no later than 1 day before the start date of your trip or event. You can do this in-app:
If you are cancelling a trip:
- Go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu of the app
- Tap 'Insurance'
- Choose 'Travel' and select the cover type 'Cancel for any reason'
- Tap 'Make a claim'
If you are cancelling an event:
- Go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu of the app
- Tap 'Insurance'
- Choose 'Purchase' and select the cover type 'Event cancellation'
- Tap 'Get help' and then 'Make a claim'

Important things to remember
- Timing: You must cancel your trip or event and file your claim as soon as possible, but no later than 1 day before it starts. Exceptions apply for serious illness, injury, or medical conditions
- Minimum value: To be eligible for cover, your trip or event must be worth at least €51 for listed reasons and €25 for any reason (after the deductible)
- Waiting periods: Your trip or event must have been booked no less than 3 days before the start date. Trips or events booked less than 3 days in advance aren't covered
- Ultra plan: Coverage is available only if you bought your trip or event while holding an Ultra plan and have kept the Ultra plan until the cancellation date. If you downgrade, or bought the trip or event on a different plan, you won't be covered
