I want to close my Joint account

You can close a Joint account directly in-app, but first, you need to bring the account balance to zero. Either of the Joint account holders can withdraw money without needing the other's consent.

How to close the Joint account

In the Revolut app:

  • Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  • Below your balance, tap Accounts
  • Select your Joint account
  • Tap 'Details'
  • Scroll down and select 'Close Joint account'

Once you close the Joint account, we'll deactivate any cards linked to the Joint account. We'll also send ‌both co-holders their Joint account statements by email.
