Account closure and key timelines
Why is my Revolut account being closed?
Revolut Bank UAB has decided to discontinue services for residents of Ukraine.
When will my account be closed?
Your account will be closed 60 days after you receive the first email from us notifying you of the account closure.
During this notice period, you can use your account as usual so you can manage your funds and take any action needed before your account is closed. After the 60 days, your account functionality will be restricted.
What do I need to do before my account is closed?
Withdraw all remaining funds from your account before the 60-day notice period ends.
We also recommend downloading your account statements for your records, as they won’t be accessible once your account is fully closed. To download them:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'More' under your balance
- Select 'Statements' and choose the timeframe and details of the statement you need before generating it
What happens after the 60-day notice period?
After 60 days, your account will be closed. If any positive balance remains, your account will be fully restricted. You'll no longer be able to:
- Top up your account
- Make card payments
- Make ATM withdrawals
- Send money to other accounts
