How long will my outbound transfer take to arrive?
Important notes
- Transfers are usually not processed on weekends and public holidays
- Internal checks can cause your transfer to remain pending for longer than usual
- Intermediary institutions may also need to run additional checks on your transfers to comply with their regulations, which can cause delays in settlement
Usual timeframes per transfer type
- Payments between Revolut customers are instant
- Local USD transfers: within hours – up to 2 business days
- GBP and EUR transfers: within hours – up to 3 business days
- International transfers (SWIFT): can take up to 2 business days
Transfers initiated over weekends or public holidays may experience delays. Sometimes, if your money is due to arrive on Friday, it may not show in your recipient's account until the next Monday.
