Once initiated, these transfers can't be cancelled or reversed. This is because the transfer gets manually processed by the recipient bank, which is beyond our control. The mistaken recipient's bank may need to ask that recipient for permission to take money out of their account once you've transferred it to them – which can be slow and isn't always successful.
