Fees for card payments in a foreign currency

All customers can spend, withdraw, and exchange foreign currencies during the week without any additional cost, up to a certain amount based on your plan. After this, you will be charged an exchange fee.

Exchange fees

This fee is only charged if you exceed your monthly allowance. This fee differs depending on your plan and resets on the date your plan started. Check which fee matches your plan below.

  • Standard: 0.5% over $1,000
  • Premium: $10,000 limit and a reduced fee of 0.5% when exceeded
  • Metal: no exchange fees during the week

Fees for outside of foreign exchange market hours

All currency exchanges on weekends, between 5pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) Friday and 6pm EST Sunday, incur a 1% fee for being done outside foreign exchange market hours. There's no discount for paid plan customers.
