Fees for card payments in a foreign currency

All customers can spend, withdraw, and exchange foreign currencies during the week without any additional cost, up to a certain amount based on your plan. After this, you will be charged an exchange fee.

Exchange fees

This fee is only charged if you exceed your monthly allowance. This fee differs depending on your plan and resets on the date your plan started. Check which fee matches your plan below.

  • Standard: 0.5% over $1,000
  • Premium: 0.5 over $10,000
  • Metal: no additional exchange fees

Fees for outside of foreign exchange market hours

Depending on your plan, you may be charged a fee on all exchanges made outside of the foreign exchange market hours between 5pm Friday and 6pm Sunday, Eastern Time (ET). For Standard customers, this fee is 1%. Premium and Metal customers don't have to pay an additional fee.
