Can I change my credit card limit in the Revolut app?
How can I increase my credit limit in-app?
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Under your balance, tap 'Accounts'
- Select your credit card
- Tap the info icon
- Select 'Credit card limit'
- Select 'Apply for a limit increase'
You may be asked to provide additional data, such as a credit bureau consent or updated income information. This information helps us evaluate if you are eligible for a credit limit increase.
We also regularly check your eligibility for a higher limit. You’ll be notified if you’re eligible for a credit limit increase.
How can I decrease my credit limit in-app?
Currently, it's not possible to decrease your credit limit in-app.
Why was my credit limit decreased?
We regularly review accounts to promote responsible credit management.
We’ll let you know in advance if your credit limit is being reduced, and when possible, share steps you can take to prevent it. If your limit is reduced, you’ll also get a notification confirming the new amount and when it takes effect. To help maintain your credit limit, we recommend:
- Keeping your Revolut account active
- Using your Revolut credit card regularly
- Making payments on time, for all credit products with Revolut
Can I request to have my previous credit limit restored?
Once your credit limit has been decreased, it can’t be reset to the previous amount.
