Coverage for medical expenses abroad

Primary Accident Medical Expense

We'll reimburse up to $10,000 for primary accident medical expense if, while on a covered trip, accidental bodily injury causes the insured person to incur medical expenses for care and treatment within 30 days after an accident. This benefit is payable only for medical expenses incurred within 26 weeks after the date of the accident.

Hospital Admission Guarantee

If the insured person's accidental bodily injury, disease, or illness, occurs while on a covered trip and requires urgent medical care, we'll guarantee payment of up to $5,000 towards the hospital admission for emergency medical treatment.

Family Travel Expense

If the insured person’s accidental bodily injury, disease, or illness, occurs on a covered trip and requires a hospital stay for more than five days, we'll pay $100 per day up to a maximum of seven days for a Family Travel Expense. This means actual costs incurred by an immediate family member for temporary lodging, transportation, and meals, while travelling to and from visits with the insured person.

Travel Accident

Travel Accident Insurance provides coverage up to a maximum benefit of $100,000 for accidental loss of life, limb, sight, speech, or hearing, while entering, exiting, or riding as a passenger in, any common carrier. Coverage is also extended to cover you while you're entering, exiting, or riding as a passenger in, any vehicle licensed to carry the public for hire, or any courtesy transportation provided without a specific charge, while travelling to and from the airport, or while at the airport, station or terminal at the beginning or end of a common carrier covered trip.

24 Hour Business & Pleasure Coverage, which is included under Travel Accident cover, is activated when travel begins on the departure date printed on the travel ticket and ends on the printed return date. It provides coverage up to $10,000 for accidental loss of life, limb, sight, speech, or hearing, and all circumstances, subject to the terms and conditions, to which the insured person may be exposed.

Medical Evacuation and Repatriation

If an insured person's accidental bodily injury, disease, or illness, occurs while on a covered trip and requires the medical evacuation or repatriation of the insured person, we'll pay the covered expenses for up to $100,000.

You (the cardholder), your spouse/domestic partner, and dependent children, are covered under these benefits if your common carrier tickets have been paid for using your Revolut account. Each insured person is eligible to receive the benefit regardless of whether you're travelling with them.
