Card transfers
Revolut cards support the functionality to receive inbound transfers directly to your card via your card number. Certain merchants commonly use this method to provide immediate disbursements, for example, online gambling, gaming, or betting websites. Money remittance services, like PayPal and Paysend, also opt for card transfers for quick payments via the recipient's card number.
Timeframes and tips
Card transfer transactions, if accepted by Revolut, should be credited to your account within 30 minutes. If you're expecting a card transfer and you don't see it in your Revolut account yet, try the following:
- Make sure you entered the correct Revolut card number when choosing the destination of your transfer
- Confirm that the transaction has been approved, e.g. via email or the merchant's website, and that the funds have left your external account
- Check your different currency accounts, as the transfer could have been performed by the merchant in a different currency
If the funds have left your external account and haven't been credited to your Revolut account, we recommend getting in touch with the merchant.
