How to create a payment link request
In the Revolut app:
- Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'New' (the + sign) in the top-right corner
- Tap 'Link'
- Tap 'Request money'
- Set the amount to request, or share your generic Revolut.me link and let the sender choose the amount
To request money from non-Revolut customers, Revtag discoverability should be enabled in-app. The sender can pay you via a Revolut transfer or by using a card.
Limits and timeframes
No limit applies for money received via Revolut transfer from payment links
The limit for card payments via payment links is typically £250 per week or £1000 per month (or the equivalent in other currencies). This limit varies with each individual and cannot be changed. You can check your limit in the app via:
- Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'New' (the + sign) in the top-right corner
- Tap 'Link'
- Tap 'Request money'
- Tap 'Info' icon on the top-right corner
Supported cards and currencies
If a sender chooses to use a card or Apple Pay to send you money, the same rules applicable to card top-ups apply. To see what cards and currencies are accepted, visit this FAQ. Google Pay isn't accepted for payment links at this time.
