More help with sending money via a payment link
Change the amount
To change the amount on a payment link, you need to cancel it and create a new one.
Cancelling a payment link
You can cancel a payment link at any time before it expires, as long as it's not already claimed. To do so, tap the payment in your transactions list, and select 'Cancel'.
Why did my transfer to a Revolut customer appear as a link?
If the other person isn't your friend on Revolut, has their discoverability limited, or isn't on Revolut yet, then your transfer to their email or phone number will be sent as a pending payment link.
Why is my payment link transfer pending?
If you're trying to send money using a phone number, it's possible that this transfer was executed as a payment link. Go to your transactions list, select the relevant transfer (it will be marked as 'sent via payment link'), and tap 'Cancel'.
Once the transaction is cancelled, check if the phone number matches your intended recipient, including the country code, and try again. Alternatively, you can ask this person for their Revtag, which can be found in their profile.
Transfer was a fraud or scam
If your transfer link has been redeemed by the beneficiary, the money was sent, and it ended up being fraudulent, immediately end all communication with the fraudster or scammer and follow these steps in the Revolut app:
- Select the transfer in your transactions list
- Tap 'Report this transfer as fraud' and follow the instructions
